Handmade by Mary Fellows in Lewes, England. Beautifully boxed.
Initially developed 20 years ago for a commission for Liberty’s of London Mary designs and makes her ceramic cufflinks herself, adding new styles each year.
When you order a personalised pair you are commissioning something completely unique. Each small tile is hand rolled and cut from porcelain before being slowly dried then fired in our kilns overnight to almost 1300 degrees centigrade. Once cool Mary individually hand paint each tile using a tiny paint brush with the wording you have chosen carefully adjusting the lettering to fit into the square. After another overnight firing it’s time to apply the glaze and then fire for the third and final time.

Each small tile is hand rolled and cut from porcelain before being slowly dried then fired in our kilns overnight to almost 1300 degrees centigrade. The next stage is to individually hand paint each tile with glaze and then fire for the second time. The decoration is then applied and they go back in the kilns for the final nights firing.
